Корпус летательного аппарата, служащий для размещения кабины экипажа, пассажиров, грузов и оборудования, а также (у летательных аппаратов некоторых типов) двигателей и топливных баков. Связывает между собой крыло, оперение, иногда шасси и силовую установку.

The body of the aircraft, which serves to accommodate the crew cabin, passengers, cargo and equipment, as well as (for some types of aircraft) engines and fuel tanks. It connects the wing, the tail, sometimes the chassis and the power plant.
